The University of Chittagong is ahead of other universities in Environmental Science Research in Bangladesh. It is ranked at the top in Environmental science in 2022, from 7 positions in 2021. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University secured the second position in 2022 from the 4th position in 2021.
On the other hand, The rank of BUET has downgraded to 7th position in 2022 from 1st the position in 2021.
Only 12 institutes were ranked for Environmental Sciences in 2021. It has almost doubled(23) in 2022. That means with the increase in environmental pollution, research in environmental sciences is also increasing. I Hope, this increase in research in environmental sciences will improve the quality in near future,
