Concluding remarks:
Bangladesh is a scientifically lagging country. However, to improve the lives of her huge population and ensure national security, there is no alternative to scientific advancement and technological development. Research and Development (R&D) are uttered together because, without research, no sustainable development is possible.
The question is, Will our government of Bangladesh 2.0 bring the necessary reforms to the research institute leadership, management, and funding, inspiring researchers and allocating enough funds for cutting-edge research?
N B: This report is usually published in the month of January. But in protest to the 7 January election, Scientific Bangladesh postponed publishing the report published since 2011. Now it is published on 12 September for Bangladesh 2.0
