Overview:
The Australia Awards Scholarships are prestigious international opportunities offered by the Australian Government. These scholarships aim to empower future global leaders from Bangladesh by providing high-quality education in Australia and fostering developmental change upon their return.
Level of Study:
Master’s Degrees: Scholarships are available for full-time master’s programs at Australian universities in priority fields of study. Awards will be offered for commencement in 2025 within the following allocations:

Priority Fields of Study:
- Blue Economy: Fisheries, aquaculture, maritime studies, and shipping.
- Health: Public health, health management, nutrition, and pharmaceutical sciences.
- Environment & Sustainability: Agriculture, climate change, disaster management, and water resource management.
- Trade & Industry: International trade, entrepreneurship, financial planning, and sustainable tourism.
- Public Policy & Governance: Human rights, foreign policy, public administration, and economics.
- Engineering & Technology: Computer science, AI, machine learning, robotics, and infrastructure.
- Security Studies: Counterterrorism, cybersecurity, and maritime security.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Citizenship: Applicants must be Bangladeshi citizens residing in Bangladesh during the application process.
- English Proficiency: Minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall (special allowances exist for marginalized groups).
- Work & Academic Background:
- Relevant bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
- At least three years of full-time work experience in a relevant field.
- Special Groups: Women, individuals with disabilities, and marginalized groups are strongly encouraged to apply.
