Scientific Bangladesh (SB) is the bilingual (English and Bengali) science magazine for Bangladesh by Bangladeshi people living around the world.
It is the brainchild of Dr. Monir Uddin Ahmed. The idea came in his head in 2011 when he was a PhD student. The idea came into reality with the intellectual and financial involvement of two of his friends, Dr. Mohammad Sorrowar Hossain and Dr. Mohammad Rezaul Karim.
SB envisions “Scientifically Advanced Bangladesh by 2050”. To ensure that SB will focus on creating a suitable research environment with an optimally productive research culture in every laboratory in the country so that every researcher will be able to make optimum use of his/her potential.
Scientific Bangladesh also strives to provide information and guidance for PhDs and Post-Doctoral researchers at home and abroad and for careers in research.
