The Guidelines for the authors
Scientific Bangladesh covers all scientific areas. Our articles are for general readers interested in science, technology, society and policy. Use simple terms avoiding much of jargon and equations. We publish both Bengali and English articles.
• Write with clarity and concision. Lengths of articles vary; the average length of a published article is approximately 1500 to 2,000 words. If it goes beyond this limit, then make it a series.
• You are responsible for the correctness and originality of your writing. The information must be correct grammatically and scientifically. Do not copy from any published (or unpublished) work. In case you are reusing information, mention the sources and references. For the copyrighted items (including but not limited to websites, pictures, photographs, cartoons, maps, figures, tables, multimedia contents), make sure that you ask for formal permission to reuse. Always apply for permission in doubtful cases. Scientific Bangladesh is not responsible for any legal concerns of your writing.
• You might plan to write in such a related way that you can publish a book compiling your 10-20 articles.
• Scientific Bangladesh keeps the right to edit, modify, accept or reject submitted articles. Without prior notice, Scientific Bangladesh may retract previously published work. The writer’s copyright agreement gives Scientific Bangladesh all rights to the published article(s).
• Scientific Bangladesh is currently running using the hard-earned money of its Founding editor. As soon as Scientific Bangladesh becomes financially sound, your contributions will be acknowledged financially to the best of Scientific Bangladesh’s abilities. Importantly, you will be rewarded by formal ‘Scientific Bangladesh Certificates’ in the categories:
(i) Most frequent Author
(ii) Most popular Author
(iii) Most punctual Author
(iv) Most interactive Author,
