About the Fellowship
This fellowship is funded through TÜBİTAK’s 2232-A Program, which supports high-level researchers with strong international experience to conduct their research in Türkiye. Fellows may be hosted at BAU and supported through TÜBİTAK Research Centers, universities, public research institutions, or eligible private-sector R&D centers.
BAU offers a strong research ecosystem with modern infrastructure and specialized research centers, including Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Cyber Security, Engineering, Health Sciences, and Social Sciences. Fellows will benefit from institutional support to establish research teams, access advanced laboratories, and maximize TÜBİTAK funding for research activities, personnel, and operational costs.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a PhD degree and meet at least one of the TÜBİTAK 2232-A eligibility requirements, including but not limited to:

Inclusion in the Highly Cited Researchers List (within the last 5 years), or
-
A minimum of 30 months of research experience in the past 5 years at:

QS or THE Top 100 universities (field-based)
-
Top 250 institutions (Scimago Institutions Rankings)
-
Top 2500 Industrial R&D organizations (EU JRC Scoreboard)
