Though there are 142 journals on BanglaJOL, only seventeen (17) journals and one conference proceedings from Bangladesh are indexed in the Scopus database. Among these 17 journals, 9 are open access, which means authors have to pay to publish in these journals and readers can read free. Of these 17 journals, only Journal of Health, Population and Nutrition are in the Q1( Quartile 1), and Journal of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering is in the Q2. Other seven journals are in the Q3 and 8 journals are in the Q4. Journal of Islamic Economics, Banking and Finance does not belong to any quartile
