In 2024, IUB produced 165 publications indexed in Web of Science, with a clear focus on computer science and engineering fields. The top categories include interdisciplinary computing (16.4%), electrical engineering (14.5%), and AI/telecom (12.7%). Most works were journal articles (65.5%), followed by conference papers (22.4%). Key publishers were Elsevier, IEEE, and Springer Nature. While all research was linked to Bangladesh, many involved international collaborators—especially from the USA, Malaysia, and China. A few researchers such as Md Fahad Monir and Md. Mamun Bin Ibne Reaz led in output, showing internal excellence.
