Observations:

  1. Over three-fifths of publications are indexed in top-tier SCI Expanded, showing high scientific visibility.

  2. Significant health and environmental focus aligns with national priorities in medicine, public health, and sustainability.

  3. Strong international co-authorship, especially with the USA and regional partners, indicates robust global networks.

Questions:

  1. Which Bangladeshi institutions drove the highest output within these Wiley publications?

  2. How does this 2024 Wiley output compare to Bangladeshi publications in other major publishers like Elsevier or Springer?

  3. What funding sources most influenced the strong representation in chemistry and medical fields?

The data reveal a maturing Bangladeshi research ecosystem that is not only producing high-quality science but also fostering global collaboration, signaling continued growth in both volume and impact for the nation’s scholarly contributions.
