Job Description

Postdoctoral fellow positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Yue Wan at the Genome Institute of Singapore. The lab is broadly interested in using biochemical and genomics approaches to investigate how RNAs function within the cell.

RNA structure and RNA–RNA interactions play crucial roles in gene regulation and cellular function. Recent advances in high-throughput sequencing technologies have enabled large-scale mapping of RNA structures and RNA interactomes in vivo (Aw et al., 2016). These developments have significantly expanded our understanding of RNA organization and its regulatory impact.

As pioneers in high-throughput RNA structure probing, the Wan Lab aims to utilize and further develop cutting-edge genomic approaches to study RNA function in both microbial and mammalian systems. Science Careers

Candidate Profile

We are seeking highly motivated, independent postdoctoral fellows with a strong academic track record and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary research.

Required Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related field

• Strong background in RNA biology, cell biology, and/or genomics

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment

The successful candidate will have ample opportunities to interact closely with bioinformaticians and other research groups at the Genome Institute of Singapore.
