Job Description
The overall leadership of neurological disorder research activities will be provided by the appointed Scientific Director. A comprehensive 5-year and 10-year master plan for neurological disorder research will be developed and implemented. Annual budgets and business plans will be prepared and executed under the supervision of the Director. Research infrastructure and laboratory facilities at NDRC will also be overseen and strengthened.
Innovative methods and scientific solutions related to autism and neurological disorders will be developed through the leadership of multidisciplinary research teams. Collaborative partnerships with national and international institutions will be maintained to secure resources, funding, and scientific cooperation.
Responsibilities
- A long-term research master plan will be developed and implemented.
- Annual budgets and operational plans will be supervised.
- Research laboratories and infrastructure will be expanded and maintained.
- Teams of scientists and researchers will be led and motivated.
- External funding and research grants will be sought and secured.
- Research compliance, safety standards, and protocols will be ensured.

Educational Qualifications
- A PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related field must be possessed.
Experience

- A minimum of 5 years in a senior research leadership role must have been completed.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong expertise in neurodevelopmental and biomedical research must be demonstrated.
- Experience in managing research centers and scientific programs is required.
- Strategic planning and project management abilities must be proven.
- Leadership, communication, and team-building skills are expected.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and international biomedical standards is preferred.
- Experience in fundraising and grant acquisition is considered essential.
