The BioInnovation Institute & Science Translational Medicine Prize for Innovations in Women’s Health is established to recognize significant research advances that provide creative and impactful solutions to the diverse challenges in women’s health. Outstanding research performed by individual applicants is honored through the submission of a 1,000-word essay that emphasizes the translational potential and global impact of the findings. This initiative is driven by the goal of improving health outcomes worldwide by highlighting innovative work that addresses crucial medical hurdles through creative approaches. Furthermore, a broad definition of women’s health is utilized to encompass any condition affecting individuals identifying as women, including persons assigned female at birth, transgender individuals, and nonbinary persons, thereby ensuring a wide and inclusive scope for the prize.
