BGC Trust University is the top in SCImago Institute Ranking 2023 from Bangladesh

In the 2023 ranking, 41 institutes have got ranked in the SCIMAGO institute ranking. In 2022, 37 Institutes were in this ranking from Bangladesh.  BGC Trust University has been in this ranking for the first time and has secured the top position.   A vigorous discussion is needed on how this is possible. Dhaka Medical College, Begum Rokeya University, Jashore University of Science and Technology, and  International Islamic University Chittagong are also in the ranking for the first time.
