BGC Trust University, NSTU and DUET are the Top Three Universities in Chemistry Research in Scimago Ranking 2023 in Bangladesh

Twenty (only 11 in 2022)  Institutions have got Scimago Ranking for Computer Science research in 2023.

Nine more institutions than in 2022 have got a ranking, which is a good sign for chemistry research in Bangladesh.

Of these 20 institutions, 18 are public universities and 1 is private and BCSIR is the only non-university institution. JBGC trust university has obtained the first position, replacing Jagannath University. Private university  BGC Trust University has obtained the top position and last year topper Jagannath University has gone down to 15^th position.

The global ranking of the top three institutions is 519, 563, and 777 and that of the last three are 3464, 3549, and 4181.
