Job Description

Postdoctoral Fellow positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Tanya Mayadas to investigate the emerging role of neutrophils as antigen-presenting cells and regulators of adaptive immunity. The research focuses on cancer and autoimmune kidney diseases, including lupus nephritis.

The project aims to understand how neutrophils interact with T cells and other immune populations to influence disease outcomes and how these pathways can be leveraged for immunotherapy. Science Careers


Research Methods

The successful candidate will employ a range of advanced techniques, including:

  • Molecular and cellular biology approaches
  • In vivo studies using mouse disease models
  • CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing
  • Biochemical analyses

Required Qualifications

  • PhD, MD, or equivalent in immunology or a related field
  • Strong background in molecular biology and immunology
  • Experience working with animal models

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in neutrophil biology
  • Experience with imaging techniques
  • Experience working with primary human neutrophils

Research Environment
