About the Fellowship
The High Meadows Environmental Institute (HMEI) at Princeton University invites applications for its prestigious Environmental Fellows Program 2027–28. This highly competitive postdoctoral fellowship is designed for early-career scholars from diverse disciplines—including life sciences, environmental science, engineering, policy, and the humanities—to advance innovative, interdisciplinary environmental research.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent and collaborative environmental research
- Contribute to undergraduate teaching in Environmental Studies
- Mentor students through internships and research projects
- Design or assist in courses related to environmental themes

Eligibility Criteria
- PhD completed with no more than 2 years of postdoctoral experience before September 1, 2027
- Must secure at least one (preferably two) Princeton faculty mentors prior to application
- Written confirmation of faculty mentorship is required
- Current Princeton postdoctoral researchers are not eligible
